Co-Founder Barbara Ezell was diagnosed with peritoneal cancer in 2011. Following the many rounds of treatments she soon discovered what humans have passed down as tribal knowledge for centuries; how cannabis works to reduce nausea, improve appetite, and provide a sense of physical and mental comfort.

Moved by her response, the Ezell family wanted to share this gift of natural healing with as many people as they could. Interlochen Alternative Health was established in 2013.
